What is Gog and Magog

The prophecy of the god Gog is the leader of the great army that will attack the land when the end of the earth comes. Gog is "the prince of Rosh, the Mesek and the canvas" in the north called "Magog yoresi." "Man, turn your face from Magog country to Rosh, to Meshach, to Gog, leader of Tuval, prophesy against him. Say, 'The Sovereign LORD says: O Gosh, the leader of Meshach, the leader of Tuval, I am against you.' (Ezekiel 38: 2-3).

Ezekiel's prophet tells that in the chapters 38-39 the Gog will attack Israel with great power. The prophethood of Hezekeil will be defeated by the God of God on the mountains of Israel. It will be so many that will be the savastas that the gommek will take seven months. "The people of Israel will bury them to purify the land, and this will last seven months" (Ezekiel 39:12).

The book of Revelation speaks of Gog and Magog. "After a thousand years, the devil will be released from the prison where he is thrown away, to deflect the nations of the world, the Gog and the Magog, to gather together for battle. " (Revelation 20: 7-8) The prophethood in this book is in fact the revelation of Ezekiel's prophethood.

Magog is the grandson of Noah "The sons of Yafet: Gomer, Magog, Meday, Yavan, Canvas, Oak, Tiras." (Genesis 10: 2). The descendants of Magog were placed in northern Israel, which was probably Europe or Asia. "(Mt. Ezekiel 38: 2) In general, the Magog word was describing the" barbarians in the north, "that is, the grandson of Noah, the son of Noah, There was no interest in the Magog, the people of Magog Hezekiil 38:15, 39:

Using the prophethood of Revelation Hezekeil about the Magog, the Revelation asserted that Israel would eventually be the enemy of the people. "To deflect the four nations of the earth, the Gog and the Magog, will come out of the dungeon to gather together for battle, and the number of the gatherings is as great as the sea sand.We come from all over the world, and the camp of the sanctuary and the city of love are besieged. Destroyed. " (Revelation 20: 8-9) Biblical commentators claim that Magog is Russia or Gin. This is possible, but there is no definite information on the subject in the Bible.
