Patomskiy crater Unknown Secret

Geologist Vadim Kolpakov found this crater on his discovery trip to Siberia in 1949, leaving many questions in his head.

Kolpakov was warned by the people of Yakut who lived there before going to the depths of the region. The people of Ruby explained to Kolpakov that it was an evil place in the forest where even the animals were far away, that they gave it the name "eagle nest from fire" and that the people who went there were lost.

When Kolpakov went to the area mentioned, he found a giant crater on the size of 25 skyscrapers in the middle of the forest. The crater's mouth looked like a volcano, but the volcano was not formed in the area for almost 5 million years.

According to research done, the crater was found to be 250 years old. When research was done on the trees around the crater, it was seen that the trees were growing on the same conditions as the trees that were growing after the explosion in Chernobyl.

Since the discovery of the crater, there have been many theories about what (or who) created the crater. The most logical theory is that a meteorite may have fallen into the region. But the crater does not match any known type of meteor.

Some have suggested that this place might be a UFO headquarters. In 2005, a research group was sent to eliminate the question marks in the head, but the event ended with tragedy. The group leader died of a heart attack a few kilometers away.

Local Ruby people said it was just a curse. The Patomskiy krater is still mysterious.
